Experience
During my early college years I tutored two high school students in Spanish, both of whom successfully moved up a level. When I was studying abroad in Nicaragua I worked on English conversation skills with an 8 year-old South Korean boy and his mother, and upon returning to U.S. taught English to another young boy from South Korea. After graduating from college, I went to Ecuador for a year as a volunteer teacher and spent most of my weekends at my students' homes, working with them one-on-one to reinforce material learned that week. Currently, I am an ESL instructor in Boston at an English school for international students.
